QuickBooks integration
If your accounts live in QuickBooks Online, FoxEra can hand over your supplier bills as a file QuickBooks imports directly. The bills come from the deliveries your team actually received, so what you pay matches what came through the door.
How the QuickBooks export works
In FoxEra, open Settings → Accounting, choose a date range and click QuickBooks bills CSV. Each received delivery becomes a bill with its lines: bill number, supplier, bill date, due date, account, line amount and tax code — the mandatory columns QuickBooks Online asks for.
In QuickBooks Online, go to Settings → Import data → Bills, upload the file and pick dd/mm/yyyy as the date format. Review, then save.
- Works with QuickBooks Online's bill import
- One bill per received delivery, line by line
- Ex-VAT amounts, matching the prices you checked in
- No retyping of supplier invoices
What it does not do (yet)
There is no live QuickBooks connection — the export is a file you import. It covers supplier bills, not sales or payroll. That keeps it simple and keeps your bookkeeper in charge of what gets posted.
Getting the most from it
The quality of the export depends on the deliveries. Scan supplier invoices with David AI or receive against a purchase order, check prices at the door, and the bills you export will already be right. Set your default account in Settings → Accounting so every bill lands in the correct place.
